About the CPF Credential
A Certified Practical Forensic upholds the values set forth in the FBA’s Professional Code of Ethics & Standards, which guides practitioners in their litigation engagements.
Forensics is the presentation of evidence to a trier of fact (judge, jury, arbitration panel, etc.). A Certified Practical Forensic (CPF) is skilled in gathering admissible facts, analyzing and summarizing facts, and simplifying facts for presentation to a trier of fact maintaining objectivity throughout.
A Certified Practical Forensic may specialize in blockchain forensics, digital forensics, or financial forensics but recognizes that the three fields share a common goal - the objective analysis and presentation of complex informatiomn in a dispute.
